Welcome to FreeProxyLists!
The proxy list on FreeProxyLists.org is one of the most enhanced proxy resources on the web. Welcome to our website and enjoy our services!

What is a Proxy Server? A proxy server is a medium between proxy users and the servers the users need to access. When a proxy user requests a URL, the proxy server fulfills the request by fetching the resource. In this way the proxy server stores the requested content in a cache. If there are new requests for the information stored in online cache, there is no need to fetch the data from the remote server anymore; the new request will be serviced from the cached data. The purpose of a proxy server is then to fetch the data from the remote server and return it to the user, while cashing the data in local drives.
What is an Anonymous Proxy Server? Anonymous proxy servers do not transfer the IP address of the users, therefore hiding the information about them and their surfing interests. Elite proxies go a step further and also hide the fact that the user is surfing through a proxy server. Therefore, there are two types of anonymous proxies:
• Proxy servers that do not send the HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR variable to hosts, improving privacy by hiding IP address
• Elite proxies (high anonymity) servers that do not send HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR, HTTP_VIA and HTTP_PROXY_CONNECTION variables to the hosts, hiding the fact that the user is using a proxy server on top of hiding the IP address.
What is CoDeeN proxy? The PlanetLab Consortium (CoDeeN) proxy is a collection of industrial, academic and government institutions supporting and enhancing the PlanetLab overlay network. CoDeeN is an academic testbed CDN (Content Distribution Network) built by the Network Systems Group at Princeton University. It includes a network of high-performance proxy servers currently deployed on many PlanetLab nodes, which redirect requests and surrogate servers, providing a fast and robust web content delivery service to CoDeeN users. Accesses via CoDeeN are mostly logged to help in identifying abuse and damage control.
What is the Purpose of our Proxy List? We help system administrators to fix the mistakes with their HTTP proxy servers, and also help users stay anonymous while surfing the web.
FreeProxyLists.org There are a lot of proxy lists and resources on the web, but most of them are either out of date or completely unchecked. Some of them even contain massive amounts of dangerous Transparent Proxies.
The proxy lists on FreeProxyLists.org are constantly checked. We also allow users to post their proxy lists and have them automatically checked. In this way users can identify the good quality proxies and separate them from the rubbish. Users can also filter the list to remove Transparent Proxies to increase their safety. |
